I love my brown facial skin. I enjoy how it glows in the summertime, how it will become further, most expressive.

But often, during those later part of the days of August, after an entire month of basking outdoors in the sun, I’ll capture myself inside the echo. I’ll be surprised from the type of myself that has had came out several make-up shades darker than normal, and I’ll out of the blue beginning hearing my parents’ voices nagging in my mind: “Ay, what makes you too dark colored?!”
