No text has already established a larger influence on perceptions toward gay men compared to biblical publication of Leviticus, which prohibits intercourse between people. Before Leviticus got written, straight-out prohibitions against homosexual intercourse — whether between women or men — had been practically unheard-of inside the ancient industry.

Chapter 18 of Leviticus has a listing of restricted incestuous functions, followed by prohibitions against intercourse with a menstruating lady, bestiality and other intimate acts.Continue reading
